All area healthcare systems are encouraging individuals not vaccinated for COVID-19 to do so, especially in light of the Delta variant and the Federal Drug Administration's (FDA) full approval Aug. 23 of the Pfizer vaccine.

“This is an important milestone,” said Karen Timberlake, Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) secretary-designee. “It builds on evidence from across the country that the Pfizer vaccine is safe and effective for everyone ages 12 and up.”
