With significant growth and expansion within its North American and global operations, Marten Machining is building a new 40,000-square-foot headquarters on 11.5 acres at 3017 Worth Drive in the Portage County Business Park, Stevens Point.
The new headquarters will allow for continued growth within the overall operation with special attention paid to the machining, engineering and design divisions of Marten while allowing for new planning for operations and additional lines of business.
The new facility will create several new offices along with multiple workspaces, collaboration zones and conference rooms along with a training room, team member support spaces and manufacturing center.
According to Alan Marten, president of Marten Machining, “This new facility will allow us to continue to produce microscopically precise components for our customers and allow us to invest in a new workplace that will foster creativity and ingenuity.”
Marten Machining serves the aerospace, biotech, medical device and energy sectors.
“We are so thankful to the greater Stevens Point and Plover area and our overall region for continuing to advance our workforce through investment in education,” said David Marten, vice president of Marten Machining. “SPASH, Amherst, Mid-State and NTC educate and develop many of our employees and our Youth Apprentices. Their commitment to hard work and future skills inspires us to commit to growing our business in this community.”
Ellis Construction, Stevens Point, will be the design-build contractor for the project.
