Riiser Fuels, headquartered in Wausau, reached an agreement to sell its 63 convenience stores and gas stations to Richmond, Va.-based GPM Investments LLC. The sites are all in Wisconsin.
GPM Investments, together with its subsidiaries, operates or supplies fuel to more than 1,400 stores in Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
GPM is one of the fastest growing convenience store chains in the country and was recently ranked No. 6 in the Top 202 Convenience Stores.
Riiser Fuels’ locations are branded BP, Jetz, Amoco, Cenex and CITGO.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter
