Appleton-based accounting and consulting firm Schenck SC joined Minneapolis-based professional services firm CliftonLarsonAllen LLP on Jan. 1.

Schenck has about 600 employees at its 10 offices, all in Wisconsin.

It was established in 1920 and was a top- 100 CPA firm. Daniel Young, president and shareholder of Schenck, now is chief practice off icer for CLA’s Wisconsin region.

Headquartered in Appleton, Schenck has off ices in Wausau, Brookf ield, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Oconomowoc, Oshkosh and Sheboygan.

CliftonLarsonAllen is the nation’s eighth largest accounting firm, with $865 million in revenue last year, according to Accounting Schenck ranked 55th, with $90.3 million in revenue.

CLA has locations in 13 Wisconsin cities.It has more than 5,400 employees at 110 U.S. offices. It offers wealth advisory, out- sourcing, audit, tax and consulting services.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
